Solo/Ensemble Showcase registration will close by Friday, May 8th at 11:59pm OR once we have reached capacity for this event - whichever comes first.

END TIME: Approx. 1:00pm

Thank you for your interest in being a part of the Desert Performing Arts Solo & Ensemble Showcase!

This event is designed to celebrate the marching arts by highlighting the skills and talent our ELOP program students have developed throughout the year. We are also excited to welcome middle school, high school, and independent performers, creating an opportunity for our community to experience and appreciate all levels of the color guard activity.

We will accept up to 60 solo and/or small ensemble entries. Priority will be given to students currently enrolled in our elementary and middle school ELOP programs; however, we strongly encourage participation from students in other programs as space allows.

Performance Guidelines:
Each performance should be between 1–2 minutes in length. Participants will have a total of 3 minutes to set up, perform, and exit the floor.

We kindly ask all performers to remain for the duration of the event. At the conclusion, all participants will be invited to the floor to perform a group flag routine—a special moment that brings together performers from elementary school through college and independent programs. We will be emailing this routine out to performers not enrolled in our ELOP programs, so that you can learn the piece and be a part of this performance.

To close the event, we will proudly present scholarships to graduating seniors and current college students who are involved in the marching arts.

After the event, Las Palmas Winter Guard (a Desert Performing Arts independent ensemble), will be hosting a color guard clinic. This clinic is open to all ages and skill levels.
