Penny LePome

Media: Watercolor, Prints, Ceramics, and Photography Vision: I enjoy recording beauty I see around me. While trying to master the various media, I plan to find my personal style and identify my artistic strengths. Eventually, I hope I will be able to make important statements with my work.
Biography: While in Junior High School, I was a member of the photography club. A friend and I had a small darkroom in her basement. I have always enjoyed art. I took a general art class the summer of my graduation from high school and some classes at So. NV Community College, University of NV, Las Vegas and Cerro Coso Community College.
Education: I have observed numerous art demonstrations and taken classes or workshops from Greg Kennedy, Richard Benson, Kristine Buchanan, Mada Leach, Joan Corman, William Hosner, Dale Laitinen, Howard Rees, Richard McKinley and Hal Lambert. I am currently taking watercolor classes from local artist, Nancy Crawford.
